Park City Travel Update

Memorial weekend usually kicks off our summer of fun in Park City, however, nothing is really normal these days.  We are following all state, county, and health official guidelines in an effort to help prevent and slow the spread of COVID-19.  Let’s hope we can welcome the world back to Park City very soon.

Set against the backdrop of majestic mountains, your spirits will rise as you experience exciting celebrations throughout the summer in Park City. If you’ve never visited Park City in the summer, be prepared to be amazed.  Park City has so much going on in the summer, from outdoor concerts, art and music festivals, and a plethora of events all summer long.

We are all thinking positive and anxious to welcome everyone back to Park City this summer.  We’ve have already seen cancellations of major events, but as of now, here are the dates for our annual summer events.  With the support of our community, we have every confidence that the show will go on.  We will keep everyone updated and hope to be on the other side of this very soon.


  • Park Silly Sunday Market
    The Park Silly Sunday Market kicks off another summer season of “sillyness” on Sunday, June 7th?, 10am to 5pm, on historic Main Street in Park City.  The Market continues every Sunday throughout the summer, concluding, September 20
  •  Savor the Summit (Cancelled for 2020)
    Park City’s biggest outdoor dinner party returns Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 6:00pm. This is Park City’s longest dinner party offering diners a unique celebration of fabulous food, drink and live music whiled seated in the middle of Main Street.
  • Ragnar Relay Wasatch Back
    June 12-13, 2020
    Join your friends and form a team on this 188-mile race with teams of 12 runners rocking out to live bands, featuring wacky participant costumes as they race along the backside of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains beginning in Logan and finishing for the first time in Kamas, Utah.  NEW TRAILS INFO
  • 4th of July Independence Day Celebration 
    July 3-4, 2020
    Come up to Park City and spend the weekend. Kick off the 4th on the 3rd at Canyons Village. Take in a concert, catch the rodeo, or an outdoor concert and enjoy the 4th on Park City’s Historic Main Street for our annual 4th of July Parade and a full day of activities, including a 5k run, pancake breakfast, parade, live music, rugby games, and beer gardens.
  • Deer Valley Music Festival
    July 3 – August 12, 2020
    The Deer Valley® Music Festival (DVMF) is the Utah Symphony/Utah Opera’s summer home in the mountains. The 2020 Festival will be its 18th season of providing chamber music, classical, opera, and pops offerings in four venues, including Snow Park at Deer Valley Resort.  GET TICKETS TO DEER VALLEY MUSIC FESTIVAL
  • Beethoven Festival Park City
    The Beethoven Festival Park City is presenting its 34th Summer Season as Utah’s oldest classical music festival.  The Festival will present 18 concerts featuring renowned classical artists from around the world performing together in concerts throughout town.
  • Kimball Arts Festival
    July 31 – Aug 2, 2020
    The Kimball Art Center is set to host the 51st annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival, one of the top art festivals in the country, in Park City, UT on July 31 – Aug 2, 2020.  More than 200 selected artists, 30 live bands, three wine and beer gardens and the Kimball Kid’s Corner will highlight the event.
  • Summit County Fair
    August 1-8, 2020
    Experience a traditional county fair, complete with a rodeo, demolition derby and fun for the entire family.
  • Tour of Utah CANCELLED
    August 3-9, 2020
    The Tour of Utah is an internationally known, professional cycling competition with participating teams coming from around the world.   This year’s Tour of Utah will offer new venues for riders spectators to experience.  Park City and Canyons Village will once again be host venues.
  • Park City Point 2 Point 
    September 5, 2020 – 
    Park City’s only endurance mountain bike race will challenge racers over Labor Day weekend. The Park City Point 2 Point features all of the area’s best single-track, hitting Park City’s three world-class resorts along the way.
  • Park City Miner’s Day Celebration
    September 7, 2020
    Come up to Park City’s Historic Main Street & City Park on Labor Day and join the Park City Rotary Club in celebrating our mining heritage during a full day of activities for all ages.
  • Mid-Mountain Marathon
    August 15, 2020
    The Mid-Mountain Marathon course follows the Mid Mountain Trail, a beautiful single-track trail, mostly forested with either aspen or fir with a periodic view over Park City and the Canyons.
  • Park City Songwriter Festival
    September 10-13, 2020
    The Park City Songwriter Festival is more than music lovers, they are curators of the most intimate and unique musical experience in America. The Park City Songwriter Festival was started to honor the art of songwriting while interacting with the legendary writers who craft them.
  • Park City Autumn Aloft
    September 19-20, 2020
    The Park City Autumn Aloft Festival returns for another year in Park City, right in the middle of our beautiful fall season.  This family-friendly three day festival features an early morning launch on Saturday and Sunday morning with dozens of colorful balloons launching at once, creating a rainbow of colors in the sky set against the beautiful fall colors of Park City.
  • Park City Wine Festival
    October 1-3, 2020
    The Park City Wine Festival offers a variety of experiences on the mountain, in restaurants, classrooms, and around town.
