Whether you’re looking for family friendly activities for the kiddos or a ghoulish night out on the town, Main Street is where you want to be for Howl-O-Ween. Halloween on Historic Park City’s Main Street was named one of the top Halloween celebrations in the country by Travel and Leisure magazine and for good reason!
Park City merchants on Historic Main Street open up their doors to ghosts, ghouls, and goblins galore on Halloween. The street is packed (and closed to cars for the afternoon) with kids and parents trick-or-treating at the local businesses from 3-5. So head on up with your best costumes and join the fun and have a fun and safe trick-0r-treating experience so their parents don’t have to drive them to a dozen neighborhoods!
And of course it wouldn’t be Park City if the dogs weren’t included in the festivities. Following trick-or-treating is the Howl-O-Ween Dog parade. The Howl-O-Ween Parade is one of our finest traditions and residents really go all out to dress up their doggies. From tiny tacos, to ninja turtles, Yodas, lions, dinosaurs, and beyond, the dog costumes never cease to delight. The parade begins at 5 o’clock on Lower Main Street owners/parents show off their costumed pets as they stroll up Main Street to Heber Avenue. Even if you don’t have a dog, this is fun to watch. We’re never surprised by the creativity people show in their dog costume creation.
Enjoy… and have a spooktacular night!
